The reading was mainly slightly the ideas of the pre- Socratic philosophers. They asked and answered the first questions dealings with philosophy and the nature of the gentleman. For example, he thought if we were never disconsolate than we would never experience happiness. Heraclitus said that without continuous opposites, the world wouldnt subsist due to one-sidedness.

He also thought that fire is not accidental but paragons antecedent or logos. He said this reason is the cause of everything that happens in nature. Heraclitus believed that graven image is the fire, and so are the souls of human beings. He believed that Go d is in everything.
