Film Review - Almos\' A Man

In the film, Almos A Man, Dave is a new-made son who act ass as a farm die who feels want he is enured like a boy but he feels like he should be interact like a gay. He even quips to his mother that she oft tells him he is almos a man now, during the discussion when he asks to secure a crampfish. He makes salvage after excuse well-nigh why they need a torpedo but in reality it seems to me to be a typical boys infatuation with guns, as he re all toldy proves it to be as the movies goes on.\nHe really convinces his mother that he leave alone buy the gun and shape it straight home and bestow to her so she can make up it to his father. Naturally he does non bring it right home. He keeps it loaded and under his pillow. When his mommy wakes him and asks for it, he says its hide outside and he volition farm it initiatory subject in the morning. Again, he does not retrieve the gun for his mother.\nThis while he takes the gun to work in the field with him. As he is wo rking the fields with the mule, Jenny, to whom he seemed quite attached, he decides to fire the gun for the first off time. In his inexperience, he fires unpredictably and accidentally hit the mule and she is killed. He seems genuinely disoriented and remorseful at first but after his parents and his boss, Mr. Hawkins put out close the gun and what he had done and they reprimanded him, he became angry and sullen. When his father instructed him to go on the gun to the store where he bought it, he instead dogged to keep it and hopped on a train out of t confess.\nDave Saunders suffered a series of unfortunate events, all of which were of his own doing due to his own immaturity. He continually lie about the gun, he failed to get help for the mule presently and then he lie about shooting it. ladder away proves he hasnt self-aggrandising up. Even his rambling about proving to them hes a man is more fatuous silliness and only proves get along that he has not full-blown at al l. Dave felt that he needed a gun to prove he was a man ...
